T-Mobile Rentals now offers rental options for those traveling just to Japan or to countries worldwide (in addition to Japan). Although Japan roams on a different network than many other countries, this T-Mobile Rentals option provides international travelers with an American phone number and enables them to stay connected with one phone that will work on both networks.

A $525 authorization (deposit with international credit card) will be taken from your account
per phone. T-Mobile will automatically charge and re-authorize your credit each time your
T-Mobile account reaches the amount of your deposit.
